          An amusement park in Japan bowed to pressure after controversy arose surrounding a skating rink on the premises. It seems the park placed about 5000 dead fish under the ice, using them to spell out “Hello” and arranging them into directional arrows. Even though the fish were purchased (already dead) from a local fish market, visitors complained to management who closed the rink and removed the fish. Management further states the fish will be disposed of after a brief memorial service. Anyone interested in attending this service is being advised to bring their own tartar sauce.

         

          As a dad, I am entrusted with the most sensitive and complicated household chores. I am one of the few who has mastered the art of changing the toilet paper roll, and the only one who knows the secret recipe for ice. Or at least it seems that way to me…

          A Connecticut Superior Court judge dismissed a lawsuit brought against Remington Arms by the families of Newtown victims. Now please gentle reader, I am not in any way, shape or form belittling these deaths of our most innocent. The death of a child especially under such horrific circumstances is a level of loss and grief that I never even want to imagine, but, allowing a lawsuit like this to go forward is a slippery slope. The culprit Adam Lanza committed a killing to gain possession of this weapon, slaying his own mother to arm himself, before turning his murderous rage onto those poor children. Suing the gun manufacturer is the equivalent of suing Ford or GM for a car accident, or for you liberals out there, suing the Department of Public Health for heroin overdoses.

          2 close aides to NJ Governor Chris Christie were found guilty of intentionally shutting down roads leading to the George Washington Bridge in order to “punish” the mayor of Fort Lee for not endorsing Christie’s bid for re-election. ”time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee” was included in an internal email, and the two were found guilty. Sentencing is set for Feb. 21, 2017, and the pair could face up to twenty years in jail. Hmmm, if they were smart they would have opted to move the trial to MA, where the Occupy protesters who shut down I-93 had their charges dropped or were punished by fines, community service. Same crime really, isn’t it? Oh silly me the Christie aides are Republicans…

          I’m currently out injured, and my rehab has included plenty of gym time. Some things I’ve noted, passing between a “gym bro” and his reflection is akin to stepping between a mama bear and her cubs, and in order to avoid embarrassment, I will move the pins to higher weights when I’m done on a machine so the meatheads have to ponder how I did it.           While this column is too late to get into the juicy details of the Presidential Election, let’s just say, I’m having a hard time wiping the smile off my face. On November 8^th Donald J Trump was elected as the 45^th President of the United States. The debates weren’t Lincoln/Douglas by any means, and once again, Americans were forced to vote for (depending on what side you’re on) a misogynist, bigoted billionaire or a lying, corrupt, condescending millionaire. Funny, much was made of Trump not immediately agreeing to abide by the outcome, yet it was the Hillary supporters who took to the streets rioting and protesting after their loss on election night. These pampered snowflakes and pajama boys who always got a trophy couldn’t handle the fact that many Americans didn’t agree with them. There were the usual calls to abolish the Electoral College and demands for a recount because of voter fraud, or the Russian’s hacking, but all for naught, Trump won. The election night coverage was pure theatre, and I spent it channel surfing for laughs. CNN’s Van Jones spewed an epic rant citing racism as the deciding factor (and here I thought Lie-zy Warren was the Democrat of color, not Hillary) calling the vote a “whitelash” against a black President? Hmm Van I checked the Constitution and Obama can’t run for a third term... but this election wasn’t black and white it was green-and not the Jill Stein green, the money kind. All these horror stories about scared children and immigrants, celebrities leaving the country, California seceding from the Union, are just cry baby BS. Jones eventually walked back his statement, saying later he did believe not everyone who voted for Trump was a racist. Thanks Van, tell me something I don’t know!

          OK, now for the meat and potatoes…I’m truly fed up with these protesters, the same crew from Move On, Occupy, #BLM. They were part of the reason Trump won. Yes, you read that right. Many of their fellow citizens are fed up with the false accusations of racism and hate these groups and others have fueled. I know I am. As a cop for over thirty years I’m sick of being portrayed as the enemy, an “occupying force” as the former AG and the POTUS referred to me and you. Trump came out early on in favor of Law Enforcement, as opposed to Hillary calling for retraining and restrictions against us, furthering that narrative fostered by #BLM and the MSM. We are not the bunch of racist thugs many in the Democratic Party leadership believe us to be. We are men and women who go out and do a difficult job not many others want to do, a thankless job at best, understaffed to dangerous levels nation-wide, under attack from all sides, set upon, ambushed and killed at an alarming rate, yet every day we show up for work, to serve and protect the good people in our communities. We are warriors, or sheepdogs, or whatever who sometimes have to resort to violence in order to do our job. It’s a fact. Are there racists or bigots among us, sure, same as in any group or profession, what, no one believes there aren’t racist dentists, bigoted construction workers, misogynistic celebrities, corrupt lying politicians (ok sorry EVERYONE knows that one), but there are too many good decent hard working men and women in Law Enforcement to let any of these clowns in our midst get away with stuff that may have been ignored in years past. I’m sick of the PC crap, cameras, profiling forms, and all the rest of the stuff foisted upon under the assumption that we are racist thugs, I’m sick of it, all of it. To be told after thirty years that my city no longer trusts me is disgraceful, and to the Politicians who push this agenda, I say, good luck. This election proves the silent majority still believes in America, still believes in Law and Order, and you ignore them at your own peril.

          Speaking of which, the Boston City Council wants to join Cambridge and Brookline in a ban on plastic grocery bags. Boys and Girls, I’ve mentioned this before, when I was a kid we switched to plastic to “save the trees”, so now that the trees are safe, you want to go back to paper? You may want to re-think this, the liberal crap you peddle will fall right out the bottom of a paper sack, and plastic is the only thing that has a chance to hold it.

And in another seamless segue, our State AG, Maura Healey, she who haughtily told opponents of her bathroom bill if they didn’t like it they could “hold it” (see what I did there??) banned modern American sporting rifles, (which I hope will be overturned in Court ASAP, or fixed by President Trump), has filed with other AG’s a lawsuit against EXXON (which does no business in MA) over charges the Energy giant has a role in discrediting Global Warming, sorry I meant Climate Change. These 17 “AG’s United for Clean Power” are almost all Democrats, there is one lone “Independent” in the group. They are seeking to silence any and all challenges to the theory of Global Warming…or Climate Change or whatever they’re calling it now to fit their agenda. They are seeking the release of over forty years of documents from Exxon, other companies and groups to support their theory, YET, even after being ordered by a Federal Judge, in Texas, none of them will testify under oath in Court. Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t the Constitution provide the right to face one’s accuser? Hey, Maura et al, you opened this Pandora’s Box, now face the consequences, instead of squandering hundreds of thousands of taxpayer’s dollars (appx $500k in Massachusetts alone at this point) go to Texas, raise your right hand, and testify, unless this is all a hoax, a witch hunt, an Inquisition, or are you worried about a possible perjury charge? I’m not sure what to make of this, but I’m guessing if these fools go to Texas, look for a lot of “I can’t recall” “I don’t have that data available” and “you’ll have to ask the other members”…

          “El Commandante” Fidel Castro the de facto dictator of Cuba has finally died at the ripe old age of 90. They say you should say nothing but good about the dead, he’s dead…GOOD. Now I know I this may upset those with liberal sensibilities and ideologies, but Castro was nothing more than a rotten Communist thug who imprisoned, murdered or exiled anyone who stood against him. Now you libs will counter with his literacy programs and universal health care that provided all Cubans with the skills to read and access to a doctor, to which I say: he gave them all literacy so they could read his propaganda, and health care so they could continue to slave for the state to the tune of about $20 a month. Those singing the praises of Fidel are despicable. Talk to anyone who escaped Communism if you dare and they’ll tell you the horror stories of suspicious neighbors, the disappeared, shortages of food and basic necessities, all the things you already know, but choose ignore about Communism. Me? Let’s just say I hope he gets Hitler and Saddam Hussein for roommates in hell. File under: the only good commie is a dead commie…

         

          Amherst’s own Hampshire College has decided to remove the American flag, after some on campus felt “offended” by it. Am I seeing a pattern here? College kids, led by aging hippies, whining about the flag, a symbol of our great nation? Our free and open elections, all our freedoms; It’s time for these pajama boys and snowflake girls to grow the hell up, and realize their hallowed diversity is supposed to include people who don’t agree with them, and by the way, we’re not all ignorant despite what the professors, mommy and daddy told you. At press time, and after several pro flag protests, the adults are back in charge at Hampshire, and Old Glory is back on full display.

          To that end (and yet another segue) Iowa Rep Bobby Kaufman is introducing what’s come to be known as the “SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP” bill. It would charge public schools that are providing these sore losers play-do, puppies, candy, cocoa, safe spaces, and grief councilors (it was an election, not a school shooting) the amount they spend for this nonsense by deducting that amount from the school’s next budget. I am so asking Santa for this in MA…

          No, what we get here is a hotline, established by our intrepid AG, the aforementioned Maura Healy, so that anyone offended or feeling threatened by their neighbors who voted for Trump can phone in a complaint. Rest assured gentle reader, I’m sure AG’s office will also investigate complaints generated by Trump supporters who likewise feel threatened. Where does this PC crap end? I’d love to see even half of the million or so MA residents who voted Trump flood the hotline, or demand charges be filed for false reports… If anyone needs the number, it’s 1-800- 279-2229 (1-800- CRYBABY).  Press 1 for English.

          St Anthony’s Shrine in Boston, a church whose generosity and support of the homeless community is second to none, was the victim of a robbery, where a brazen thief swiped the poor box and a sound system. The culprit was caught, and lo and behold, it was a homeless guy. C’mon, really?? Why do you have to steal from a place that gives it away? I’m hoping for some Biblical retribution…Old Testament style…

          Americans celebrate Thanksgiving in November. While the history of the holiday has a religious basis, it’s become a more non-denominational celebration of food, family and football. I guess I’m saying it’s like Fourth of July, all Americans take part in some form or another. What gets me…people telling me all week to “have a nice holiday”. IT’S THANKSGIVING, WE ALL CELEBRATE IT, stop being PC with this, save it for Christmas libtards.

          A CHRISTMAS parade in Sandford, NC was HALTED after gunshots left two wounded, one seriously. Wait, they stopped the parade because of a nearby shooting? Can someone please pass this story to the proper authorities before next year’s Caribbean Festival?

          As I have for the past several holiday seasons I will be wishing everyone I meet a heartfelt and sincere: “MERRY CHRISTMAS”!! And anyone taking offense can, as my main holiday man, Ebenezer Scrooge opined, “better get to it, and decrease the surplus population”.

          An adherent to the religion of peace, Abdul Razak Ali Artan, attacked fellow Ohio State students running several over with his car, and stabbing a few more with a large knife. This rabid dog was then put down by a campus cop who shot the terrorist dead. Of course, liberals including Democratic VP loser Tim Kaine, called for more gun control. Hmm, the only gun there was in the hands of a trained Police Officer who, in my opinion, controlled it quite well, killing this animal, before he could harm any more innocents.

          And in a separate but related attack, this one in East Boston, two of our own, Officers Matt Morris and Rich Cintolo were shot by another “lone wolf” Islamic terrorist, Kirk Figueroa, wearing body armor and wielding a pistol and shotgun, he held Officers at bay until he was shot and killed by an Officer armed with a rifle. Both Officers are recovering, but face a long road before they are fully healed. They and everyone else there are true heroes. I’ll use this to briefly reiterate the need for rifles, shotguns and ballistic plates, (and everyone should be carrying extra ammo, more than what’s required by R&R) as well as first aid equipment beyond a tourniquet. These death cultists are all around us, and incidents like these only show how underprepared we are to deal with them.

          Well Massachusetts voters showed how stupid they are, and not just by being one of the few states that stayed Blue. They also made marijuana legal. Yup the dopes voted for the dopes (Clinton and pot). Does anyone think someone high on pot is not a danger behind the wheel or that this is going to solve the drug problem? Where is the outrage from the opioid crisis folks, drugs are drugs. The only group I see this benefitting are white suburbanites. They won’t have to travel to the hood for an ounce or swipe it from their teenagers. Kids aren’t going to pay for the higher priced but much more potent medical stuff, so the speculation about this cutting into the drug trade will be proven untruthful, just like Hillary. And as long as I’m wrapping up the ballot questions, my neighbors also voted to uncage animals (which will lead to higher food prices-and ruin my veal, because veal that walks around becomes steak, and who the hell wants a steak parm?) and raise my taxes (even though it’s only about $25/year-we all know it won’t stop there) But I got even I gave them Trump!

          Stories are surfacing that post election a possibly intoxicated Hillary had to be physically restrained after upending tables, throwing things at staffers, and attacking both Bill and campaign manager John Podesta. This fits right in with the behavior of her followers who did the same thing, only in the streets, and the celebrities who threatened to defect to Canada. Hmmm, Canada? A predominately white country, English-speaking, and close enough to Hollywood (don’t forget to get your carbon credits when you jet back-we don’t want DiCaprio crying about the planet) These pampered phonies aren’t flocking to the Third World hell holes they adopt kids from. I’m betting none of them leave. Canada requires sponsorship to emigrate, and the tax rate is high too.

          I’ll end with another quote from A Christmas Carol, my favorite read during this season: “Every idiot who goes about with ‘Merry Christmas’ on his lips should be boiled with his own pudding and buried with a stake of holly through his heart” This is the attitude, in my opinion, of the elitist, liberal, PC, inclusive crowd. The self proclaimed smartest, most tolerant people in the room got quite a comeuppance on November 8^th, and have since been nothing but “Bah Humbug” with their wailing about it. But in keeping with the spirit, I’ll offer them, as well as all of you, a very MERRY CHRISTMAS, and wishes of a safe, prosperous (without all the ordering) healthy HAPPY NEW YEAR. Hey Trump won, it’s OK to say this stuff again!!
